🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 REVIEW by Steph
Disaster is a contemporary romance standalone that promises a lot and believe me when I tell you it delivers. Rockstar falls for a normal girl is a common theme in romance novels. Nevertheless, the author totally twists and own the theme in her very own and unique way. We are told the story of Ali Whitman, a new field reporter at Entertainment Rocks, as a very sexy rock star tries to prove he isn’t everything she should stay away from.
Ali is a very likable character and easy to relate to. Every girl has had her heart crushed at some point and fall for the guy she thinks she shouldn’t. Who doesn’t love a bad boy with a good heart? I must admit that such theme is one of my weakness. Now, Tyler Young (sexy bassist of Devil’s Garden) screams alpha hero everywhere but he proves to be much more than an egotistical guy that wants the attention of the heroine. He truly wants her to see who he really is. I do believe both of them found their true selves as they got to know and accept each other. In fact, I do believe that this side of the romance is part of the main catch. The sexy scenes that will have you blushing and giggling are a bonus.
I highly recommend this novel to those that believe that romance listens to no one and it happens when you least expect it. It is stubborn and hears no reason but it is the most disastrous and beautiful kind of mess.
